Ramadan is the biggest gifting season of the year in Egypt. Companies thank clients, partners and employees with gifts that arrive before or during the month, and many follow up with Eid gifts straight after. Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin in early February, which means planning starts in December, right after the new-year rush. Here are the ideas that work best, and how to get them delivered on time.
What makes a good Ramadan corporate gift?
The best Ramadan gifts share three qualities:
- They suit the spirit of the month: generosity, family and gathering around iftar.
- They are used during Ramadan, on the iftar table, at suhoor or at home with guests.
- They carry your brand with restraint. A tasteful logo on the box or a card says more than a large print on every item.
Ideas for clients and partners
A Ramadan box. Dates, nuts or sweets in a rigid box with your logo and a greeting card. It is the most requested Ramadan gift for clients because it is shared with family at iftar. See Ramadan corporate gifts.
A branded lantern (fanoos). Wooden, metal or acrylic lanterns, engraved or printed with your logo, become part of the home’s Ramadan decoration every year.
A Ramadan VIP set. A lantern, a thermos and a notebook in a premium box with a personal card. This works well for key accounts and senior partners. See VIP gift sets.
A thermos and cups set. Practical for suhoor and gatherings, and laser-engraved stainless steel keeps the logo clean. See drinkware.
Ideas for employees
A themed mug or thermos. Affordable in large quantities and used every day of the month.
A box of dates with a greeting card from management. A simple, warm gesture that works for every level.
A prayer mat in branded packaging. A thoughtful gift that many employees keep for years.
A Ramadan tote bag for iftar invitations and family outings. See promotional bags.
Don’t forget the printed pieces
Ramadan gifts often travel with printed items: greeting cards, iftar invitations and envelopes in your brand style. Order them together so the design matches. See invitation printing and envelopes.
A Ramadan 2027 timeline
- Early December: finalise recipient groups, quantities and budget per piece.
- Mid-December: choose products and approve free mockups; order samples if needed.
- Late December to mid-January: production, greeting cards and packing per recipient or branch.
- Late January: delivery before the first day of Ramadan, or during the first week if you prefer gifts to arrive within the month.
December is also the peak of the new-year season, so suppliers are busy on both fronts. The earlier you confirm, the more choice you have.
Delivering to many addresses
If gifts go directly to clients, prepare an address list with names, phone numbers and preferred delivery times. Boxes can be labelled per recipient and counted, or delivered in bulk to your head office and branches for internal distribution.
